This past week, I attended my first APS Division of Plasma Physics (DPP) conference in Atlanta, and it was an unforgettable experience. As the largest plasma physics conference in the U.S., it brought together an incredible community of researchers, students, and professionals.

This year, I presented a poster on my work exploring modulated deuteron spectra observed by the Magnetic Recoil Spectrometer (MRS). I had many positive interactions, with discussions sparking new ideas and directions for my work. It was also exciting to finally meet several collaborators in person after months of remote communication.

Beyond my poster session, I thoroughly enjoyed the talks on fundamental plasma physics and the progress being made toward inertial fusion energy. These sessions provided fresh insights and helped contextualize the significance of our collective efforts in the field.

Overall, it was a very positive experience at DPP this year and I am already looking forward to next year (hopefully giving a talk when my work is more complete!).
